As the colder months roll in towards us, we start reaching for warming foods. However, if you're avoiding dairy and gluten, finding a warming, filling, and nutritious breakfast can be difficult.
We love this recipe from Lee Holmes of Supercharged Foods because it is gluten-free* and dairy free. As Lee explains "oats are a good source of resistant starch, which is not digested in the stomach or small intestine and reaches the colon intact. This oatmeal is such an easy way to squeeze in some gut-healing benefits first thing in the morning."
*We recommend using Gloriously Free Oats which are packed and processed in gluten-free facilities and have nil gluten-free contamination.
